Back in august of 2008 we developed an animated 3D presentation of “Russia” mall and cineplex center (”Russia” is actually its name).
Movie picture is quite simplistic – the purpose was to develop this presentation under very stressing deadline pressure and try to show in the movie as much objects in the mall’s vicinity as possible.
Our client wanted this 3D virtual tour to sell the mall to an investor, so the client wanted us to show that the mall is situated in the very center of the city and is surrounded by city attractions (= steady visitors/shoppers traffic) – the much the more, central square has been under heavy reconstruction, and we had to show how the square will look in very near future.
Plus, the client wanted to show inner rooms and floors planning (hence somewhat sketchy flythroughs).
